I recently purchased a new Bose L1 Model II System with tone Match. So far I love the sound and portability. I don’t have to carry near as much equipment as before and what I do have is much lighter. It will handle a crowd up to 350 with no problem.

Bose partnered with the manufactures of the musical equipment I now own and developed internal settings for each instrument. I perform with a Taylor 814 acoustic electric guitar,a Fender Strat Guitar and use a Shure 87a beta microphone. Ironically this system has a presets for each of them which has been determined by the manufacture to be the best set up using the Bose System. So basically I just dial up the setting for each instrument on the individual channel and I am ready to go.

So far I have received numerous compliments on the sound clarity and quality when using this system. It was expensive but so far I am really pleased with my investment.

My Guitar

My Guitar

My Taylor 814 CE Grand Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar

I have played this guitar live at gigs now for over 5 years and it is one fantastic instrument. I purchased it used at a great price from a preacher who was having his own $5000 hand made guitar being built.

This model has Fishman electronics which won’t mean much to some of you, but I consider Fishman to be the best set up for an acoustic / electric guitar.

A new 814ce Taylor like this one has a list price of a little over $4,000. I paid considerably less for mine and it was less than a year in old without a scratch on it. I was so fired up the day I purchased it I couldn’t hardly sleep that night.

OK…..So it doesn’t take much to get me excited.
